Time

august collage

Time seems to be getting the best of all of us. As the summer winds down and we look ahead. We all wonder where the time has gone. We need to remember to not waste a
moment of time. Time is precious and it’s something we can never retrieve once it’s gone. Take time to make a difference in someone’s day, A hug, a smile, a word of praise or appreciation. “teach us to count our days, make our days count”

the Photograph is actually a stamp as well as the faux wallpaper panel.

Micro Beaded Wedding Candle

beaded photo candle

The summer can’t be going this fast can it? Where did June go? Here is an idea for
a great gift. It is a micro beaded photo candle that I made using Wonder Tape. You can use a regular pillar candle or better yet, use the flameless flickering candle.
If you would like directions on making the candle, Suze Weinberg has posted them on her blog along with having a special sale on Wonder Tape for a limited time. Check out her blog from the list on the left.
Have a Happy 4th of July!

For the Graduates

two bus cards together

I can hardly believe, my twin nieces are graduating from college. They were born the same year I was married. They are beautiful, talented, creative girls (just like their mom) I covered these business card holders in polymer clay as a gift for them. If you look closely, you can see the flecks of gold leafing on the green one and silver leafing on the pink one. I used the Mokume Gane technique. Love Lisa’s video. Clay is so inexpensive and fun to work with. Tons of colors to choose from and just heat in your toaster oven.
