Thomas Kinkade Rubber Stamps

Thomas Kinkade rubber stamps, Cornish Heritage Farms

I just love using the Thomas Kinkade rubber stamps from Cornish Heritage Farms. They can be challenging to say the least. Especially for someone like me who doesn’t have the best eyesight. Through trial an error I found a way to color the scenes in, yet keep all the brilliance that Thomas Kinkade is known for.

I made 2 videos to show you how. The first video is how to stamp them. The second video is how I color them.

Here are a few samples.

If you have these stamps I hope you try this technique. I would love for you to email me or tweet me a link to your card.

Happy Stamping!

Acetate Background Technique

card

This card has a patterned, watercolor type background which I created on a sheet of clear acetate and Sharpie markers.. It’s easier than you think and can be done with simple tools in almost any color. Different color combinations can alter the entire feel.
I am working on a Youtube video to show you just how to accomplish this look. The Video shows a different card than the sample displayed. Giving you an idea of how versatile this technique can be.
Enjoy your day,
Diane

Wonder Tape Butterfly

Beaded Butterfly Tutorial

I finally got a chance to do my first Youtube Video! Although the sound isn’t the best (I really don’t sound like that do I?) and I needed my 13 year old son to help me load it on, I’ve gotten some really positive response. I hope to do 2 or 3 more in the next week or so. Will keep you posted.
This technique uses Starform Stickers, WondertapeRanger Blending solutions, Sharpie Markers and Micro Beads
THANKS for watching.
